TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Online/on-site Travel Tax Payment
The Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment System is provided by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP). TIEZA may need to update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes shall be effective immediately without need of prior notice to the Applicant.
By using the TIEZA Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment System, you accept the TERMS AND CONDITIONS set forth below, otherwise, do not use this Facility.
A. The Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment System is available to all Applicants. However, all applicants must have an online account.
B. Only VISA Cards are accepted.
C. For the OOTTPS, the Travel Tax shall be collected in full, that is, the full amount of PhP 1,620.00 (for economy class passage) or PhP 2,700 (for first class passage), regardless of age, reduced rate/exemption status.
D. For reduced rate and exemption, Documents shall be uploaded for approval and original copy will be submitted to Travel tax counter for validation.
E. For a detailed information about Philippine Travel Tax (rates, exemption, refund, requirements, travel tax offices, etc.) refer to the TIEZA Travel Tax Rules & Regulations found at the Authority’s official website (www.tieza.gov.ph) and the Revised PTA Rules Implementing P.D. No. 1183, as amended by P.D. 1205 and B.P. Blg. 38, on Travel Tax.
The terms used in this agreement have the meanings set out below unless the context requires otherwise:
A.“Applicant” means the client or individual registering with the OOTTPS and/or setting up a payment via the Facility.
B.“The Authority” refers to the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (formerly known as the Philippine Tourism Authority) with principal address at 142 Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City.
C.“Card Payment” means the Applicant’s use of a credit or debit card in paying for the travel tax.
D.“Card Issuer/Supplier” refers to the bank which owns the credit or debit card you are using on the Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment System facility.
E.“Client Account” refers to the account of the applicant maintained by TIEZA to record the online registration and/or travel tax payment by an Applicant.
F.“OOTTPS” or “Facility” means the internet-based Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment System operated by TIEZA.
G.“Personal Information” is as defined in RA 10173 or the “Data Privacy Act of 2012”.
1.The Authority will collect (or may already hold) personal information relating to the Applicant, or payer making payment, which includes the name, date of birth, address and passport number of the individual in accordance with the TIEZA Data Protection Policy and the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
2.By agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Applicant (or any payer making payment) hereby accepts and consents to provide his/her personal information for the sole purpose of processing/administering the Online/On-site Travel Tax Payment.
3.It is the responsibility of the Applicant (or payer making payment) to ensure that all personal information provided to or held by the Authority and/or provided to the Card Issuer is clear and accurate. The Authority shall not be responsible for any loss suffered by the Applicant, or payer making payment, as a result of inaccurate information being provided to the Authority or the Card Issuer.
4.The Authority may use the personal information provided to it to contact the Applicant (or payer making payment) to clarify or resolve issues in connection with any online travel tax payments made.
5.To know more about your rights and on how the Authority processes your personal information, see Republic Act No. 10173 or the “Data Privacy Act of 2012”.
By entering your credit/debit card information you are warranting that you are an authorized user of the credit card and that the associated information entered (account holder name, account number, billing address, etc.) is true and accurate.

A.Online payments can be made through credit or debit card.
B.By accepting the terms and conditions stated in this Agreement, you authorize the Authority to charge the credit or debit card account you have provided for the payment you have selected.
C.All payment details which are entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the Applicant enters them. Communications to and from the Authority’s or the Card Issuer’s site are encrypted.
D.The Applicant warrants that there is sufficient availability under the credit card limit or sufficient funds in the debit card account to cover the card payments.
E.Payments received at 4:30pm and beyond of the same day will be posted to the account you are using for payment on the following day.
F.A confirmation email will be sent to the Applicant after making an online payment. If no confirmation has been received, it shall be the Applicant’s responsibility to check with the Authority if the payment has been accepted.
A. The applicant/passenger shall pay a convenience fee of 1.75% of the total travel tax paid.
B. In addition to the convenience fee, your Credit Card Issuer may assess its customary transaction or handling charge, if any.VIII. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PASSENGER
Passengers are required to bring the printed transaction to be submitted at the airline check-in counter at the airport. TIEZA shall not be liable for the passenger's inadvertence or failure to bring the required printed transaction or any document.IX. REFUND POLICY
A.No same day refund/reversal for online payments.
B.For a detailed information about refund policies, refer to the TIEZA Travel Tax Rules and you Card Issuer’s policy.
A.The Authority shall not be liable for any failure by the Applicant or payer making travel tax payments to properly protect the data/information from being seen on his/her screen by another person(s) or otherwise obtained by such person(s) during the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.
B.The Authority shall not held liable for payment not reaching the Applicant’s account due to incorrect details entered during registration or payment, whether personal or otherwise.
C.The Authority shall not be held liable for payment not reaching the Applicant’s account where payment is refused or declined by the Card Issuer for any reason. If the Card Issuer declined payment, the Authority is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Applicant to inquire/check with the Card Issuer if the payment has been deducted from the credit or debit account.
